Creating a Vector Composite Effect from a Photo

Another great tutorial from PSDtuts.

This tutorial will demonstrate how to take an image, in this case a woman’s face, and give the appearance that it is entirely composed of vector shapes. Along the way, we’ll use some fairly basic techniques, including clipping masks and displacement maps, to achieve a unique effect!

DIY Underwater Camera Housing

If you’ve ever explored underwater image and motion capture, I bet you soon realised how grossly expensive underwater camera housing is. I utilised this article a for a uni project once and loved the outcome so much I continue to use it. Bought a cheap $150 video camera, and picked up all the materials from the hardware store, within an afternoon I had a very solid waterproof camera house.
