Review – Lumix GF1 Camera

October 17, 2009 Leave a comment

Dpreview have an in depth review with sample images of the new Panasonic Lumix GF1 digital camera. I’ve been interested in seeing this camera in action for a while, the adaptable lenses make it a very versatile piece of gear to have in any photographers bag. The directions Panasonic have taken with their range of cameras in recent times is quite impressive, I very nearly purchased the LX3 for my street work but instead opted for the G10. The GF1 is a very tempting purchase for me, but I’ll probably be sticking with the G10 for a while longer yet.
The GF1 looks like a great street camera to own if you’re looking for one.

Canon G9 Video Review

February 20, 2008 Leave a comment

I’ve been researching the Canon G9 as it seems like a great camera to own and I’m looking for a new point & shoot that can take good landscape shots. I already own a G5 but it’s converted to an infrared camera and my Canon S2 seems more suited to macro photography. I’m thinking the G9 would make a fine addition for my landscape and travel photography as I really love the 16:9 ratio and the large image sizes compared to my other cameras. This video is from Camera Labs, I’ve found they do some really great product reviews. Enjoy the video!
