Setup Your Canon G10 For Street Photography

I’m a massive fan of the G10, especially for street photography. One of the coolest features for me are the two custom settings on the dial, this has made it so incredibly easy for me to get shooting in the streets at a moments notice, knowing that all my settings are exactly as I need them.

HDR photography techniques are still very highly sort after, it’s a fine line to tread when working with high dynamic range. Some photographers utilise HDR as a means to correctly represent what they are seeing through the viewfinder, while others see it as a great chance to create something much more surreal or illustrative rather than photographic.

I’ve only recently come to take notice of tilt shift photography, and am increasingly becoming more intrigued about the possibilities of the technique within my own photographic work but haven’t quite been willing to purchase the equipment required. Well, I’ve just stumbled upon this fantastic little tutorial by PhotoGuides.net on replicating strikingly accurate tilt shift photographs within Photoshop. Now that’s cool!
